I am pursuing my dreams,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for very dark it seems<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to sleep at night headlessly,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

thus I warn you, seriously: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not wake me up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

They are so close, yet so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have to keep my eyes closed,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

or I wouldn\u2019t know where they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it is rather bizarre,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

what visions my mind can host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Those ambitions could reach the stars,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as they shine bright into the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But will they ever see the days light?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or will they with the dawn pass?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it worth it, for them to fight?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

One image blends into another,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

past, present, and future I can see,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am sailing in a sea of fantasy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nonetheless, me they do bother,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

daydreaming I would be much rather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My strength is beginning to weaken,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the light is fast approaching,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

or is it darkness? No, it is a beacon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First birds will soon sing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And for the dreamless? Darkness begins to thicken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I wonder if they will come true,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

or if they will leave me false.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pinching myself is the only clue,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that can prevent all the remorse<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of waking up to having fulfilled only a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

There is nothing else left to do,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the morn is nigh at hand,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

yet night falls over my hopes and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it\u2019s clear that none of it is true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
