<\/div>\n\n\n\n

That something can be<\/p>\n\n\n\n

doesn’t mean it ought to,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

nor that it must come true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The soul to choose is free<\/p>\n\n\n\n

what it’s destiny will be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

But decisions are formed <\/p>\n\n\n\n

by how one’s life’s informed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So does my past and nature<\/p>\n\n\n\n

determine my present and future?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are alternatives for the paranoid?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

If free will is an illusion <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and my steps are given,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

why does each conclusion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

not seem inherently driven,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but to every possibility open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Seeming may be construed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as tool of the inevitable<\/p>\n\n\n\n

while the will is subdued<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and our preference negligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, no one’s responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Biggest nonsense I\u2019ve heard,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

existence would be absurd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why would punishment follow crime,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

even consequences in time,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

were we to follow only one line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Yet our options are limited,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

their number may be determined<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and what they really are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still at last by us decided<\/p>\n\n\n\n

with all odds to spar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes to no avail;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

surrounded by conscience,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

which is a much better evidence,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that liberty of mind must prevail,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
